A member of the South African Textile Services Association.

August 30, 2017

The Real Don Dry Cleaners is pleased to announce our membership of the South African Textile Services Association.

This is a body established in January 2014 with the view of upgrading, formalising and developing all necessary facets of professionalism within the ever evolving South African cleaning industry.

Membership requires adherence to the Association’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice which amongst other things, demands any member to keep informed of industry developments, provide an environment of fair dealing with consumers and accept an ongoing commitment to skilled and conscientious service.

Loraine Hopley our recently appointed director, recently attended the Association’s Laundry training course and scored amongst the highest in the resultant written exam.

She has brought valuable knowledge back to our operations that will ensure we continue to give superior service.

Loraine joins The Real Don from a FMCG consumer industry and possesses post graduate qualifications in marketing and management.

She is also a very experienced seamstress specialising in wedding dress care. Since childhood she has over decades built up the knowledge to assist our clients with all their needs in mending and alterations.

We have now opened a second outlet at Dainfern Square to provide even better service to our customers, particularly those requiring late trading hours. This shop remains open until 18h00 on weekdays, 17h00 on Saturdays and 14h00 on Sundays and public holidays.

We welcome our many new clients who now experience this greater convenience at The Dainfern Square Shopping Centre and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship.
